Recycling Day and Some FUN

It's time again! We need to recycle...mainly because of THIS post! We really need the C4C trailer at church to be emptied on Sundays and during the week for other's to drop off their bags/cans.

Unfortunately, I wasn't in the best of moods while bagging the trailer. Poor Trav had to unload, bag, and pile it all in the truck by himself. THANK YOU, Trav!!!! 

And it looks like there were a TON of bags and cans to collect today--I feel horrible that I didn't really help. Thanks again, Trav:) <3

Look at our new web at work!!! 

While at the recycling center, we had lots of people gasp and talk about how large our load was. We always like to share the C4C story and how we are helping our church's building fund.

Total pounds of aluminum cans recycled today: 154-- the cans were falling off the weigh scale when I took this pic! It really was 154! 

Total pounds recycled for C4C as of 1/12: 3,058 pounds!!!!! 

Usually, this is the end of the post-- but we had a bit more fun today:) While waiting to turn in our ticket, Trav helped our friend, Frank, clear the weighing station by throwing the bags into another pile near the back of the center. **Afterwards, Trav asked if I got any good pics of him throwing the bags.... I didn't! What a disappointment! LOL! 

As we drove away, I texted Poppie our total (who had asked earlier in the day if we were canning). He's so silly! Here is our conversation and his responses!!! **Just because Poppie won at the Guessing Game last time {HERE}, he thinks he can guess the exact weight every time:) LOL! 

Did you see what he said??? He was going to guess the exact weight-- he only said that because I told him what it was! LOL! 

After our laughs with Poppie, Trav and I stopped at our local Chick-fil-A (owned by our friend, Ed). We absolutely love love love him and this restaurant! We were lucky enough to stop by while they were giving away free milkshakes if you repeated a phrase that was posted on their FB page {HERE}. HOOOOORAY! What a great way to end the day:)

**NOTE:: By the end of the day, I was in a better mood and back to my normal self:) Thanks to Trav!! LOVE him.
