Today was a beautiful day... Trav was off... so it was obvious to us that we needed to go biking and canning! It's been FOREVER since we were able to do this on a regular basis!!! I'm so happy! When we do this, we are:
- getting exercise
- cleaning up the neighborhood
- collecting money for our church building fund
- sharing Jesus with those we come in contact with
- having FUN!!!!!!
We found easy cans near the road....
and cans in the woods! We go to the "ends of the Earth"!!!!!
Since Trav and I have been taking more regular bike/canning rides, we've agreed again that our Cans4Christ catchphrase {click HERE for more details} is SOOOOOO TRUE! When we find one can, we usually can find MORE! This trip was full of stops where we would spot just one can and then find six or seven. And that adds up for a full bag quickly!
One can...but upon further examination of the wooded area...
EIGHT cans!!! Gotta love the C4C catchphrase!
Funny thing about this trip was that Trav and I just rode on these roads a week ago {read about it HERE}! Just when we think we've cleaned up the neighborhood... a couple of days later the trash and litter has multiplied and needs to be picked up again.
